Red Trap hornet trap

Ingenious and completely safe for bees, the Red Trap captures Asian hornets with ease. 

The Red Trap is made up of a wooden box, a queen excluder, a mesh cone and a perspex lid. Thanks to its red colour and the mesh cone, it effectively attracts hornets, which end up trapped inside. The bees, however, can easily escape through the queen excluder. The Red Trap can be installed from spring. Once the bait is in place (honeycomb or hornet bait), it provides your bees with unrivalled protection.
