This leg bar for a Dadant hive is ideal for transforming a basic frame into a jambage frame or for repairing a jambage frame. 

Sold separately from the frame, the jambage frame is designed for all Dadant hive body frames. It comfortably meets beekeepers’ needs should they want to convert a normal frame into a jambage frame or simply repair a jambage frame. This technique, developed by Bernard Nicollet, gives you a result which is very similar to natural honeycomb construction, without the bees needing to start from a foundation sheet.
