To extract birch water, you’ll need the following equipment:
- Drill
- Drillbit
- Hammer
- Pipe
- Spout
- Plug
- Bucket
- Lid
Directions for use:
The drill and drill bit are used to drill a hole in the birch tree. The spout can then be inserted into the hole so that the sap can run down it into a bucket protected by a lid. Once this process is complete at the end of the season, the plug can be used to block the hole back up with the aid of the hammer.
